Politeness has the power to enhance your relationships with others, fostering respect, rapport, self-esteem, confidence, and improved communication skills.
Politeness helps you deal with other people easily and smoothly. It helps you get along with strangers in crowded places like subways, airports, malls, and streets, and it facilitates our transactions (saying "Please" makes things easier).
You may speak perfect English, but if you appear rude, people won't want to talk to you.
