Hello,
My name is France, pronounced just like the country. I am an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in my city. I teach refugees and immigrants from all over the world how to speak English. The topics we focus on are related to getting a job, working, family, health and to successfully join the community where they live.
I teach beginner, intermediate and higher level English speakers. I can help you build your vocabulary, improve pronunciation, practice fluency, and much more. I am committed to helping you acheive your learning goals. Personalizing lessons, learning as much as I can about why you want to learn English and providing resources are just a few ways I will help you to learn English.
I also teach community classes in a variety of topics, some being social skills and brain fitness (how to keep your brain healthy and the supporting science). These classes are best for intermediate to higher level English speakers, however, I can adjust the lesson to see if it is a fit for your level.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology/cognitive science and a Master's degree in Adult Learning. I love to teach!!! Teaching is my passion and my art. I am funny, creative, a good listener, engaging and most of all, invested in your learning. I look forward to working with you!
