I'm from the USA and was born in Oklahoma where I grew up. I studied International Business and worked in Quality Management for a bottling manufacturer before I moved to Japan in 2010.

I first lived in Ibaraki for a year and then moved to Tokyo where I now live.

I like travelling around Japan and especially love Tokyo’s island, Oshima. I’m a hiker and like to be in the mountains about every weekend with family and friends. I enjoy camping, BBQ, gardening, reading, my aquarium, listening to podcasts/radio and spending time with good people.

I like listening to friends and having long discussions. I'm an open and friendly person and like to hear people talk about their lives and experiences. I've learned so much from the people I have met!

I'm very happy to help anyone improve their English and have fun at the same time.
