Aloha, I'm Mahina!

Until I entered university I didn't have any overseas experience.

However！！！

Since I was little I enjoyed learning English and did so the whole time I was in Japan.

In this context,
I enjoyed casual conversation at English conversation cafes, played games
and was able to naturally get a solid grip on my English communication skills.

All this lead me to becoming motivated and I ended up going on to a certain famous international univeristy spending a year as an exchange student in the US☆

While I studied abroad I did sight-seeing and learned about Hawaii's history.
I can tell you about the culture and history of the people of Hawaii in our lessons!

I'm blessed with being able to use English in my current job, keep in contact with my friends from my study abroad days and am very glad that I have learned English.

Especially if one of the following applies to you...

　In my first year of high school I stayed with a Canadian host mother and experienced Canadian culture.

・A graduate of the English department of a famous international-minded university
　Minority studies（Gender and ethnic groups）as well as
　seminars on the history of ethnic groups
　A credit in an English teacher training curriculum

・Exchange student at Hawaii Manoa university (1 year)
Lived together with 3 American roommates and also experienced culture shock!


・Korean training at a foreign language university（1 month）
　Studied abroad in Seoul, learning Korean, which I am interested in.

・TOEIC 885 points/TOFEL iBT 75points /Eiken mid-1/Hangul exam level 5


** HOBBIES **

・Travel
　So far I've been to England, Australia, Canada, America, Italy, Korea, Taiwan and New Zealand！
　I also enjoy domestic travel so travel-lovers, let's talk!♪


・Watching Korean TV dramas
　During the state of emergency periods, I watched all kinds of dramas.

・Musicals
　I like musicals so much that duiring my student days I was a cast member of an English musical group. My favorite musical is Les Misrables!
