Hello!
My name is Kataoka.

I completed the Japanese Teachers' Training Diploma Course at Regent's College, London, passing the examination set by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate(UCLES) in March 1997.  

After completing this course I taught Japanese language in London before returning to Japan to open my own Japanese language school in Oita in 1999.   

I also taught at Beppu University and Asia Pacific University(APU).

I have move to London June 2016.

Over 17 years, I have taught more than 500 people from 26 countries.   Their levels ranged from complete beginner to advanced.

Because of my experience in London, I can understand how people feel when they encounter difficulty with their studies.   I believe that this experience assists me in helping my students.

Moreover, as I used to work in the Japanese Government as a secretary to a member of parliament and also worked in an insurance company, I know about Japanese Business style very well, so I can teach you what you need to know when working with Japanese people.

I always arrange lessons to suit my students' requirements.   I have specialised in designing and running classes for students wishing to take the JLPT and have set tests to ascertain what level they should aim for.
