Hi everyone! My name is Yuka. I am very excited to have English & Japanese classes here.

I have loved learning English since I started watching the show “Sesame Street” when I was 5 or 6 years old.

There were no subtitles, my parents didn’t understand English, and I had no teacher. But I couldn’t help falling in love with the world of English instantly and this started my wonderful journey.

I guess some of you are struggling with your learning of the English language because it takes more time than you think. It also demands patience, persistence, and constant practicing.

I have to admit that these are all true; however, I’d like you to know that it can be done without so much stress if you add more fun to it and if you enjoy learning with a positive mindset.

I use movies, books, and magazines to learn a variety of natural good expressions of many English speakers. Please tell me what you like. It's my pleasure to help you adopt your favorite things into the daily learning.

For those of you who are learning English for tests, such as TOEIC or Eiken, I can give you tips which are all from my experiences. I can also give the support you need.

All I did was to just keep enjoying the path of learning (I never stopped having fun). I also kept practicing the basic drills from the past tests and text books with a relaxed, quiet mind as much as possible. I’ve always tried to enjoy the process.
