My name is Valentina and I was born in Florence.
I like reading and studying new teaching techniques. I like eating food typical of other parts of the world and getting to know people from different cultures and helping them to be passionate about Italian and English.
I graduated three years ago in educational Psychology. 
Last year I obtained the TEFL certificate to teach English as a second language.
I have taught American undergraduate students during their study abroad program in Italy and I have taught Italian to immigrants and refugees for more than two years.
I also had the opportunity to teach online, for St. Cloud University, a course on Italian culture.
I live in Toronto, after spending a period as a researcher in the United States.

I use different approaches according to the student's needs.
- Conversation to improve Listening and Speaking skills using topics chosen by the student.
- Grammar, Reading and Writing using a PDF ebook and other material previously provided to the student.
