Some changes and announcements --- Please read
2015년 3월 27일
Hello students!
How is everyone today? I hope you are all doing well!
I have several announcements so I would appreciate it if you took that time to please read to the end.
1.) I am planning some changes to my lesson pricing starting next month. I have now been teaching with Cafetalk for over 7 months and have also recently passed the 600 lesson mark. I have decided that it is now an appropriate time to increase some of my lesson rates. Please understand that this is my primary source of income, and I been offering low prices for some time now. I will also be modifying the time and lowering the prices of some other lessons.
Here are the lesson changes that will take place next month:
-Learn English with BBC news, Extended Free Talk in English, TED Talks Lesson, Learn to Play Chess, Textbook English for Beginners: 2000 points --> 2200 points
-Rhys Sensei's Super Fun Kodomo Eikaiwa: 30 minutes/1400 points --> 25 minutes/1300 points
-Picture Lesson for Kids: 1200 points --> 1300 points
-Let's Prepare for the Eiken Test: 2600 points --> 2400 points
2.) My lesson called "Free Counselling Session" is not a free trial lesson. This lesson is a chance for people to ask questions about lessons, about my teaching style, course materials, kid's lessons materials, textbooks and other things. If you would like a trial lesson, please select the trial lesson for the lesson that you are interested. I am terribly sorry, but I simply cannot afford to teach classes for free.
3.) I will also increase the times and prices of my trial lessons from 10 minutes/200 points --> 15 minutes/500 points.
4.) I will be soon be introducing two textbook-based lessons. One will be an idioms lesson, and the other will be a phrasal verbs lesson. I am currently waiting for the last textbook to arrive; I will create the lesson after I recieve it. I will give all students who purchase the book a 50% off coupon to compensate for the cost.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read! If you would like me to explain further in Japanese, don't hesitate to contact me.
Happy studying!
