Description
What is the relationship between Amaterasu the Japanese sun goddess, and Osiris from the ancient Egyptian mythology? How does telling stories about fighting dragons help us to live our lives in a more authentic and effective way?
I have been studying comparative mythology for over 10 years, and in this class I can share with you some ideas and theories from Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell and Jordan Peterson, as well as looking at our own interpretations of stories from cultures around the world. What stories do you tell as part of your culture? Let's see how they fit into the great 'golden thread' of the path of humanity, the 'hero's journey' which connects us all.
