Description
The idea of the Death Cafe is to provide this space.
In this class, in a relaxed and frindly atmosphere, you are invited to share your thoughts and feelings around death, dying and grief.
We will start with a short meditation and then move onto a discussion, which could include some questions from me, or you are invited to share whatever you would like to.
Some examples of questions we could explore:
- What customs or traditions do you have about death in your culture?
- What are some ways in which you can celebrate those who have gone?
- How does thinking about death or those who are dying help you to appreciate life?
In the Death Cafe tradition, we always share tea and cake at the end of the discussion. We do this to celebrate life! If you can come to the class with your favourite drink and sweet snack we can follow this tradition even though the meeting is not in-person.
