This is my late pet animal named "Ryu".
He was an abandoned puppy on a rainy street.
弱り切った子犬、そのままにはしておけませんでした。
Taking a look at the puppy in a frail condition,
my mother was speechless.
「庭のどこにお墓をつくればいいのって思ったよ」とは後日談。
He came to and grew up into a robust dog.
Faithful, playful, and intelligent, that's exactly he was!
家族にとって彼は、息子であり、弟であり、ビタミン剤でもありました。
He lived to be 18 and died in his sleep on tatami mats.
He left us over 10 years ago, but still exists in our memories.
