Welcome to my profile! I'm Ntolo Lekau from the kingdom of Lesotho in Africa. I'm passionate about exploring new cultures, trying different foods, and I adore my two Maltese puppies. As a certified TEFL teacher with a diploma in secondary education, I bring years of experience teaching young adults aged 12-14 in grades 8-10.
Currently, I'm volunteering at a preschool, teaching early childhood development to children aged 3 to 6 years. This experience has deepened my understanding of nurturing young learners' curiosity and imagination.
In my engaging and supportive classroom, students thrive as we achieve lesson objectives and progress through their learning journey. I prioritize creating a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, knowing that learning is a journey that requires patience.
I incorporate total physical response in my teaching, particularly with absolute beginners, to ensure effective understanding from the very start. Whether you're a young learner discovering English for the first time or an adult looking to improve conversational skills, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
