Good day. My name is Anina Fourie and my spiritual name is Darshan Priti Kaur. Both titles are worth mentioning for the one holds my identification and the other my path and journey's direction.
Darshan means vision or presence of God, and Priti is unconditional love. The name suggests that I share my infinite flow of joy, love and positivity with everyone I encounter on this path. This suggests my personality down to the core - every other characteristic flow from this origin.
Anina: traveller, photographer, incense aficionado, animal lover, yoga teacher, free spirit, nature adventurer, explorer.
Born in South Africa, I travelled the world. Mainly while working on the biggest cruise ship in the world, The Oasis of the Seas as a photographer. Our itinerary included the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Cozumel Mexico and Jamaica.
I also travelled to China and saw so many beautiful things: the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and The Great Wall! All this accompanied by excellent experiences - coming down from the Great Wall with Toboggan? Simply delightful! It is mindful things like this that excite my very being: the little things, consideration, and compassion - experience.
Experience is what inspires me to aspire to new things daily. There is always more to learn, more to see, more to experience. Whether the experience is good or bad - it is all meaningful to a great degree. This is my worldview, and I like to inspire people to see the world with the same sense of positivity. I always enjoy saying: "It is easy to be happy." Everything is beautiful in the unique mechanics of its very existence. More on this during my lessons, though. I invite you to come share perspective.
I hope to connect with you soon.
What is Hatha Yoga to me and what this means for you.
During a yoga practise or assessment, I will ask you questions like how familiar are you with yoga? What would you like to achieve from doing yoga? If necessary I will also inform you of benefits that yoga could have for you. From here we will work out a practice which is going to help you achieve your goals and bring you so much more than what you possibly could anticipate.
So what is Hatha Yoga? It could be slow, calming, fast, invigorating, it will always be somewhat challenging. We could try different poses during every session - or we could work on one set routine until it is performed perfectly. Hatha Yoga is yoga the way you need it, as you need it, performed in such a manner to inspire personal growth on many different levels - emotional, physical, mental, and even spiritual. How awesome is that?
