Hi there! My name is Miranda. I'm an ESL teacher from Canada and a former news broadcaster. I have a passion for teaching others English, and I love meeting people from all different cultures and places.

My teaching style is upbeat, positive and encouraging. I am patient, caring and kind. I truly care about each and every one of my students, and will do my utmost to see that they succeed in their language learning goals. 

I have a degree in Media Communications and have worked as a news broadcaster on both television and radio in Canada. As such, I place high importants on helping students with their pronunciation, grammar and elocution. 

I have experience teaching adult students and also children from ages 3 years to 13. 

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my husband and my two young children, doing many outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, etc., and reading, writing, cooking, gardening and baking.
