Hi everyone my name is Carol and I live in the UK with my husband, 4 Children and two dogs. I live in the South West of the country which has a beautiful landscape. I lived in London for many years and am quite knowledgable about the city. I enjoy walking, reading and meeting people from different cultures.

I am a qualified TEFL teacher with a degree in English and History. I have been teaching English to students from all over the world for the past 5 years.My specialties include IELTS tuition, Business English, Test Preparation and Personal Statement writing for entrance into British Universities. I can also help you prepare for university and job interviews. I have had a lot of students who have improved their IELTS scores with me after taking 10 lessons! Indeed one of my students raised her IELTS speaking score from a band 3 to a band 5 in 8 weeks!

In addition I can help  with your conversational English. With me we will discuss subjects that interest you and I will help you learn vocabulary that you will use frequently.

I believe that all of my students have individual needs. My teaching methods, therefore, reflect this. I develop for each of my students an individual learning plan that is tailored to their needs.
