Who am I?

Hello,
My name is Tim Berendse. I was born in Germany but spent most of my life growing up in New Zealand, Wales and England. I'm fluent in both English and German and recently graduated with a Masters in Theatre Studies from the Freie Universität, Berlin.

My experience.

I'm a passionate English Language teacher with three years of teaching experience. I have taught in classrooms in Austria and Switzerland (with students from 11-19 years of age and some adult classes) and online with students of all ages in China.

My teaching style

I like introducing cultural and interesting linguistic topics into my lessons. As my student, we will talk about films, tv shows, theatre, music, sports, books and much much more!
I want to tailor the lesson to what you are interested in and help you improve your spoken English to a native-speaker level. I believe this can be achieved through engaging conversations while also paying attention to phonetics and pronunciation.

Who can be my student?

Anyone! I have experience teaching 7 year olds, 17 year olds, 37 year olds and up!
Whether you want to learn Business English, Presentation skills, Speaking Exam preparation or just improve your conversational English, I will help you on your quest to master the English language.
