Hello,
My name is Joao , I am Portuguese. Nice to meet all.

I was born in a small town near to Porto in Portugal and since I was a kid I knew that I wanted to meet people and travel the world. Well, I lived in 5 different countries , and I speak four languages , currently living in Berlin and starting to learn German.
I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teacher career that I started 2 years ago in Colombia as a volunteer, teaching English to students in a public school and private lessons in English and Portuguese in one-to-one lessons , 

What will I be teaching?

Portuguese or Spanish. I am native portuguese and i speak spanish close to a native level. I lived 4 years in spanish speaking countries , first in Spain where I worked and study.
I made part of my degree in Vigo and my final internship in Barcelona , approximately 2 and half years and then in Colombia where I lived and worked as a teacher.  


What are my lessons like?

I am passionate about languages, and I believe that to learn a language you must be motivated and have a bit of freedom to learn in your own way. Normally I like to introduce different topics such as: cultural , technology , history , tourism and travelling. Students are free to give ideas about topics, but of course that works better with higher levels. No matter your level, I have a lot of materials to help you learn Portuguese or Spanish, but more importantly, I have the passion in teaching.
