Hi everyone!

My name is Constanze but feel free to call me Connie.

I grew up in Germany but have always been extremely passionate about languages (I speak 6 languages in total) and have lived abroad in 6 countries. Although I learned the local language of those countries I realized that English is the language that connects us all.

By now I feel as confident and fluent in English as I do in my native language (I dream, write and speak English most of the time).

I speak a clear American English, that is easy to understand and having learned English myself I can relate to your struggles in studying and help you overcome them.

I've been an English teacher in Japan for more than 2 years for students of any ages and institutions and an English tutor in Germany.

I have experience teaching kindergarten classes, college students, adults in a private or group setting. My youngest students are 3 years old, my oldest 67.
 

 About my English lessons:

• Conversation is about enthusiasm – not about perfect grammar – let's have fun English conversations, even if you only know a few words in English

• You don't need to read grammar rules from a book– I'll teach you with the help of examples

• With the help of my lessons, you will get a feeling for the English language and naturally absorb the right way to use the grammar.

• No need to use your native language in my lesson – I will use clear gestures and words and you will naturally understand (I'm currently teaching a 67-year old student who's a complete beginner not using his native language (Japanese) at all!)

• Being a globetrotter we can chat a lot about different cultures and traveling – I have spent the last 7 years living in 6 countries, speaking 6 languages and traveled to over 30 countries!
