Hello!
My name is Brittany. My Japanese friends sometimes call me 'Buri'-chan. I'm originally from a very small town in Missouri, USA, but now I live in Saitama with my husband and two rabbits. I love reading, watching movies, singing at karaoke, and playing tabletop board games.
I've worked in several fast-paced professional jobs including at an 'Eikaiwa' as an English Instructor for 10 years, and as a Switchboard Operator answering phones for a hospital for nearly 5 years. I'm also used to the formality used in colleges and universities in America from the time I spent as a student worker while I attended classes to earn my bachelors degree.
I'm very good at free chat discussions, but I like teaching structured English lessons too. I always try my best to politely correct grammar and to leave each lesson having taught you something new. You can rely on me to give careful grammar correction and language pronunciation.

I've been living in Japan and teaching English here for 10 years. I have ample experience teaching people of all ages in both in-person and online lessons. I have taught group and one-on-one lessons over the years using various materials and on many different subjects. Interview prep, business writing and etiquette, telephone communication, and exam preparation are just a few of the subjects I have helped students with over the years. I excel at politely correcting pronunciation and grammar while retaining a friendly rapport with my students. A kind smile goes a long way to help my students feel relaxed.
