My name is Umoh Edem, I'm a Power systems engineer from/based in Nigeria. I have worked as a registered engineer in the power sector for 4 years. I'm a highly driven individual with a great sense of humor, I am passionate about learning new skills and I have completed several professional pieces of training courses in the last few years. I have also worked as an online English tutor as well as a class tutor in the last 5 years. I have developed a strong skill set in public speaking, communication, and relationship management.

I'm solely interested in tutoring because of my drive to impart knowledge. In our society today, illiteracy is the bedrock of insurgency and terrorism especially in my home country Nigeria. I believe if education is taken seriously, terrorism will be cubed to the barest minimum. I want to use this opportunity to contribute to the universe by educating the younger generation and giving positive impacts as this will make me fulfil my life's purpose to develop mankind.

I was an online English tutor for 2 years where I taught students from Japan, Korea, Italy, and China. During this period, I taught toddlers, teenagers, and adults.
Furthermore, I have also been a Sunday school tutor in church for the last 5 years where I teach the bible in the English language. My student audience is between the ages of 5 years to 75 years of age.

My greatest motivation is my drive to impart knowledge. I love to communicate with people and also learn from them as well as impact positive knowledge all the time.
