Hello everyone, my name is Emaan. I live in London, England. 

My academic background:
I have completed my Associates in Social Work from Canada.  I have done my Bachelors in Psychology from London, England.  I have achieved National Vocational Qualification in Health and Social Care and have completed a Counselling Certificate Course from Thames College, London.

My Teaching Experience and Expertise:
Teaching is my passion. I have been teaching English and Maths at Kumon since 2010. I teach English and Maths to students between the age of (3-15) years old.  In English, I mainly support them with learning phonics, pronunciation, grammar, writing and reading skills, while in Maths I support my students with learning KS1 and KS2 Maths. I do independent tutoring as well. I have experience teaching academic English, Maths and Science at Primary and Middle School level, ESOL and students studying TEFL course. 

Teaching Style:
I am a friendly but hardworking teacher. I enjoy teaching in a fun, friendly and casual manner! I like talking about everyday subjects, learning more about my students and teaching through role-play. My lessons are mainly based on conversations, learning everyday English, Maths and Science.

Recognising Student's Individuality:
As an effective teacher, I understand that every student is an individual with different abilities and needs. I feel that my main job is to understand, assess and empower their needs what it is that he/she wants to achieve while having lessons with me and then plan and work accordingly in a cooperative manner to achieve excellent results.

My Hobbies:
In my extra time, I work as a part time Care Support Worker.  I feel privileged to work with vulnerable young adults and adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.  I support them with learning life skills and with their daily needs and support them to feel that they are also a productive members of our society.
