Hello, my name is John, I am 41 years old and I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I was born and raised in Chicago, Il but now I reside in Istanbul Turkey. I have over 15 plus years in tutoring English speakers in foreign languages privately.

I received a General Studies/Computer Information Systems degree from college along with a certification in Computer Information Systems. I am a Certified Microsoft Professional twice over with a certification in Windows Server Administration and Networking Essentials. I have my 168 hour TEFL certification and a 30 hour teaching business English certification from The TEFL Academy.

I speak a few different languages besides English. I am fluent in Fusha (Classical Arabic) and am actively learning Turkish with my new wife. So, I can understand the situation that you are in trying to learn a new language. It seems hard and sometimes impossible but I’m here to help and make your journey as easy, fun and painless as possible.
