Hello there!
 
My name is Ben and I'm an English lover (it's my favourite subject in school) based in Brisbane, Australia!
 
I focus on conversational English as I believe a language is meant for communicating with people, and it is imperative that we nail the ability to have daily conversations with people. This is particularly true when we're meeting people for the first time. It's the ability to hold our own during the first meeting that enables us to take the first few seconds into minutes, and eventually evolve into hours as we further develop relationships.
 
But of course, getting there requires dedication, time and effort, and particularly requiring an eagerness to speak and excel the language, and most importantly, be willing to accept criticism and learn from the mistakes. But not to worry, I'll be there with you to take you through every step of the way!
 
My lessons are as follows:
 
Daily Conversation in English - suitable for all levels, it's just like chatting with a friend!
 
Business English - I've worked in a number of industries such as education, customer service, hospitality and consulting in Malaysia and Australia. I can provide relevant examples of business English, be they conversational or written, such as writing emails, resumes, cover letters, preparing for interviews.
 
 Like all professionals, I too, have been in multiple interviews over the years (and got the jobs). I can guide you through the preparation process in English and have mock interviews with you.

About me:
- Born and raised in Malaysia, moved to Australia in 2015 and have been here since.
- Completed my Bachelor's of Science (Applied Geology) in Curtin University, Perth.
- Completed my Masters in Geographic Information Science (GIS) in the University of Queensland, Brisbane.
- 4+ years of working experience with GIS in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) and mining consulting industry.
- Achieved an overall score of 90 in Pearson Test of English (PTE).
- Have an immense interest in Japanese cuisine, anime and manga.
- Hobbies are: playing badminton, gaming, watching anime and reading manga/western comics.
