Hi! I'm Tanvi and I'm from Sydney, Australia.  I've taught in Malaysia and Singapore and am studying for my postgraduate degree in TESOL at the moment. I've been a TESOL teacher for over a year now and I find that one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is helping people achieve their career and personal goals. I'm always glad when I see my students becoming more confident about reaching their potential.

Learning a new language takes time and practice! I'm willing to help you improve whatever level you're at, but it helps if you give me an idea of what you want to focus on (grammar, speaking, writing?) and why you want to learn it (for work? for fun?).

My teaching style is quite relaxed. I believe in encouraging people - I'm not a very strict teacher - and tailoring my classes to the needs of my students. I'm patient, friendly and I have a passion for the English language.

When I'm not teaching, I like to go kayaking, go on nature walks around Sydney, and read and write poems. I hope to help you improve your English and have fun along the way!
