I’m Miyuki and I’m a Japanese tutor. The lessons that I offer on Cafetalk are aimed at non-native Japanese speakers (intermediate-advanced level). I also offer essay tutoring for Japanese high school and college students.

I have been teaching Japanese for about 25 years in educational institutions abroad, Japanese universities, and foreign companies in Japan. I am a certified Japanese teacher with a master’s degree in linguistics, a Juris Doctor degree, and an ACTFL OPI tester certification.

As for essay writing, I have helped non-Japanese students learn how to write theses and research reports, and Japanese students learn how to write college entrance exam essays. I also have many years of experience as an essay proofreader.
