Hello, do you want to improve your English? Then I am the teacher for you! My name is Emunah and I am from the Caribbean, from Trinidad and Tobago. English is my Native language and I also speak French and Spanish.

·        As the home of soca music and steelpan, Trinidad and Tobago is a culturally diverse place where everyone is appreciated and celebrated. This can best be seen in our Carnival celebrations that take place every year. I think it is a great tribute to the human spirit; a celebration of what makes us one despite our differences. Thus I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures and languages. 



My interest in language and culture inspired me to attend university in Paris, France where I studied International Relations and Diplomacy. Through this immersion in French culture and language I was able to improve my fluency in French. It was not easy at first but with constant practice I eventually got it.
As a result, I understand how hard it can be trying to communicate with native speakers of a foreign language. Is that a problem that you have communicating with Native English speakers? Don’t worry, I have your back!



·         I am TEFL certified and I have been teaching English online for the past 3 years. I also have 8 additional years of tutoring experience. My teaching style focuses on the student's goals, needs and interests. I bring lots of real-life practice activities to the class with grammar explanations and vocabulary points so that you understand the rules of the English language. Feedback is provided after the class and I encourage conversation as much as possible in order to build confidence. I am very supportive and patient. All levels are welcome. From Beginner to Advanced.
