I have been living in Japan for two and a half years and I am specialized in teaching Japanese students.  I can help you with your everyday English needs.  I have taught stuents from ages 4 to 64, and I'm looking to teach online so I can express more of my creativity directly to you. CELTA certified and I have helped many students with test preparation, useful everyday English conversation, writing, more natural native speaking, and pronunciation.  I can also help you with your resume and help you practice for job interviews.
 
I have a lot of experience with children and I can help them with their English homework!  I worked as an English teacher at a youchien for 1 year and I also worked as an ALT in a junior high school.  I loved singing songs and making my students laugh. 
 
My passion in teaching English is particularly in pronunciation.  I studied piano and voice in college, and have fairly extensive knowledge on what muscles to move in your face in order to produce a more native sound in different languages.
 
I'm fairly easy-going as a teacher unless you need me to be more challenging.  My biggest goal is to make English more understandable and accessible to you.  I have experienced all the anxieties of speaking Japanese as a foreigner in Japan so I empathize with all of your concerns about speaking English!
 
As a side lesson, I am a cat enthusiast and can help you with your cat behavioral needs!
