Nice to meet you! I went to middle school in Japan, but after graduating, I went to a high school in Vancouver. I overcame a rough period where I couldn't speak a word of English and entered McGill University, a top ranked university in Canada, and majored in International Development Studies and Economics. On June 3rd, 2014, I received my bachelor's degree, and now I have just returned to Japan.
In order to save up money to study business administration, I am currently working at a Japanese restaurant in Asakusa. I want to open up my own guest house one day, so I would like to gain many experiences and save up money. My hobbies and interests include cooking, camping, traveling alone, and house music. I did an internship at an NPO and I also volunteered in Tohoku for 1 year. I want to live a happy and proactive life.
Not only do I teach regular English conversation and grammar lessons for people who are preparing to study abroad at a high school, college, or vocational school, but I also have lessons on English that you will use in real life. I am particularly strong at writing essays, so I can have you write essays on a chosen topic and return them to you with explanations on the corrections. I can promise you that through these lessons, your English writing skills will improve and you will see a big increase in your TOEFL essay score. Additionally, since I lived in Canada for over 7 years, I can give comprehensive consultations about studying abroad. I can also give lessons on how to write specialized research paper for students who are planning to study at a university or vocational school overseas.
I just registered, so I only have a limited amount of lessons available, but if you have any requests, feel free to let me know!
