Aloha, my name is Ron, I live in Hawaii.  I was born and lived in Japan for 15 years.  My father is an American, and my mother is Japanese.  
People say that I am very calm, peaceful minded, and very easy to get along with.  
My style of teaching is very casual.  We simply talk to eachother, and I add in communication suggestions when needed.  I like to talk a lot about Hawaii, so I'm sure you will enjoy our conversations and also learn how to effectively communicate in English.  If you are a Japanese student, your English will improve much faster because I can make suggestions to you in Japanese, which will make it much easier for you to understand and apply my teachings. 
For my full-time work, I have the honor of performing weddings for Japanese clients that come to Hawaii.   It is so much fun to perform romantic weddings, and getting to meet so many people from Japan including well known celebrities.  
My teaching experience comes from the many years of homeschooling my three children.  Through homeschooling, my oldest daughter entered the University system at the age of sixteen.  My son graduated from homeschool and entered the University system at age seventeen.  My daughter graduates next year with a Bachelors degree in Nursing, and my son is still currently studying to become a doctor.  I also have a twelve year old daughter that is being homeschooled, she would like to become a pediatrician.
As for teaching English to Japanese students, I teach about the Bible to ten Japanese students, in both languages.
During my free times, I enjoy studying the Bible, giving bible studies at church, surfing at the beach, hike the mountains, and spending lots of time with my wife and three children.
