A little about myself:
My name is Blair. I'm from Denver, Colorado USA. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver With a degree in History and Marketing. I graduated in 2009.
I moved to Japan to teach English in 2010 Because I have always had an interest in Japanese culture, food and history. I lived in Fukui Ken. I stayed there for three and a half years. I left Japan for 6 years and lived in santiago Chile and South Korea. where I continued perfecting my teaching skills.
Returned back to Japan in July 2019 and currently live and work in Yokohama.
Hobbies and Interests:
I love to travel, dining out and find new and interesting foods to try, cooking, playing golf, watching movies and dramas, snowboarding, playing various games such as cards, board games and video games. Going to live music shows rock, blues, jazz, soul and hiphop.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught children ages 2 to 16 years old: arts and crafts, story telling, singing and dancing, phonics, reading, writing and speaking.
I have taught adult conversation group and one on one. Using various text books, news articles, listening exericses and ted talks or other various video clips.
I have taught business English for group classes as well as one on one classes. I have taught at companies such as How Met Alcoa in Japan, Toyobo, Miyagen, hospitals and city goverments In Japan.
While in South Korea I have taught for companies such as Yuhan Kimberly which is part of Kimberly Clark, SK Hynix, CJ Group and others.
I have taught High level executives, Engineers, sales staff, Human Resources staff, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, chemists, scientists, nuclear researchers and others.
I am familiar with the semiconductor industry, sciences and tech industries
I have taught public speaking, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary, technical training for certifications, some TOEIC and IELTS etc.
