Nice to meet you.
My name is Bora・Kim and I'm a Japanese interpreter at a Korean major company.
In Korea, I graduated with a major in Japanese and I went on to graduate school to study interpretation and translation. Although it is fun to do on-site interpretation, I joined as a teacher because I wanted to meet new people and study with people who have the passion to be better and share that positive energy with each other.
For those who want to study translation or interpretation but it's difficult for you to find a place to learn so you had to give up or for those who want to reach a higher level, please try my lessons.
If you want to have a chat in Korean or if you want to exchange opinions on various topics about Korea with a native speaker, all are welcome.
I decided to become an interpreter because I think my learning ability is slower than others and I felt a sense of regret for not being able to adapt. When I went to Japan as an exchange student, I was disappointed in my Japanese so when I returned to Korea a year later, I put a lot of effort into studying it.
I still remember the first time I went to the cram school (it's a professional training school for students who want to enter the graduate school of interpretation). I was at a level where I couldn't even read a single line, such as the tears of a sparrow or the deliberation by a member of the National Assembly, but I tried my best. After many twists and turns, I graduated from graduate school and when I'm on site doing interpretation, I always think that when studying a language, all of your efforts won't be wasted and if you work hard, everything will pay off in the end.
In my case, I didn't live in an environment where I was blessed and my Japanese ability wasn't exceptionally well from the beginning but this is the reason why I can share the earnestness and the passion with you. I'm looking forward to meeting people who believe in their potentials and want to study together.
