Hello friends!

It is such a pleasure meeting you! I want to help you out in choosing your teacher, so here's a little info about my credentials, who I am, and what I love to do. Hopefully we'll have a chance to get to know each other better on Cafetalk.

I was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria but I have been studying English since I was a small child and consider myself bilingual, with a neutral North American accent. Ever since I was little I was nurturing a secret desire to explore the world. My wish came true when I left for the USA after finishing high school. I spent 9 incredible years there. It has been the biggest adventure of my life! It's where I truly grew up, discovered my potential and passions, and met many amazing people that enriched my life and perspective.
During my time in America, I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and later discovered a love for theater and acting. I went to study acting at the  Actors Studio Drama School where I obtained my Master's Degree and later worked at the renowned Actors Studio. I've always considered myself extremely lucky for these choices, because they gave me a unique understanding about the relationship between thoughts and behavior, self-expression, emotions, language and communication. Now, I for one believe that language and communication open the gates to the rest of the world..it's why we're all here. What I've learned from my experince I apply to my life and I apply to my teaching. Language is important- understanding it and speaking it. But beyond that one must develop confidence in communicating through that language. And this is where I can really help! I can teach you grammar, vocabulary, pronuciation, reading, writng, but it's speaking freely and confidently that truly matter. I know the struggles of reaching that point of fluency that you don't even think before you speak. Preparation and hard work are essencial, but so is relaxing, letting go and having fun, not hesitating.
I have been teaching Theater and English for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I love helping people grow in their confidence and freeing their voice.

I'm offering different classes that focus on different aspects of the English language- from essencial grammar, idioms, difficult sounds, preparation for public speaking and more. There will also be free speaking classes where we can just talk about anything and everything.

I love dogs- man's absolute best and most loyal friends!

But I love all animals really (horse is my spirit animal), books (Harry Potter, anyone? Stephen King?), movies, music, TED talks, psychology and much more. For all the beautiful goddesses out there, any women's topic of choice is more than welcome.

I also think that a good cup of coffee, dessert and good conversation can heal most wounds, so I am extending an invitation to come and chat with me about troubles, or insecurities or anything really. I am a great listener and have been a personal "therapist" and a go-to person to friends and family for many years.
