NOTE: I do not teach children and young teens (12-15 years old).
NOTE: This is not a conversation practice lesson. I want to expose the student to different vocabulary and its use in many different contexts. If you are interested in conversation lessons and have a CEFR Speaking Level of at least B1, consider taking my "Conversation Practice/Article Discussion" lesson.
NOTE: If this is your first lesson with me, I will conduct a Needs Analysis at the beginning of our first lesson. The Needs Analysis is a short question and answers session to ensure my future lessons with you are useful and relevant to your particular needs. I want to create fun and interesting English learning opportunities for you.
Structured English lessons to improve your vocabulary, listening comprehension, fluency, and grammar.
These lessons focus on specific topics or articles with exercises for the student to work through. Most lessons will consist of a vocabulary, reading, listening, and speaking part (with speaking being the main focus of every lesson). I introduce grammar concepts in some lessons, but it is not the main focus. I focus on fluency, then accuracy. I want you to feel comfortable speaking as much as you can in English.
The lesson will include:
▶ a chance to interact and ask/answer questions.
▶ feedback on your mistakes and/or new vocabulary, which may be helpful.
