Why is Roald Dahl Important?
For many children around the world, their favorite childhood books, stories and characters all focused around the works of Roald Dahl.
But his stories were much more than stories.
Matilda teaches us that if you focus your mind on something, no matter your age or size, you can achieve anything.
The Twits and The BFG teach us that kindness and morality is more beautiful than appearances.
James and the Giant Peach teaches us how to be courageous, even when it's scary.
