It is that time of year again when we run into old friends and colleagues at dinners and parties. A common phrase to use is "long time no see".
For those of you who have not heard of this expression, it is used when you see someone after a long time of not seeing them. You can use this in both formal and informal situations.
For example
Midori: Hi Kelly! Long time no see!
Kelly: Oh hi Midori! Yes it's been a long time! How are you?
For those of you who have heard of this expression, have you used it recently?
