Hello!
My name is Sarah. I am from the United States of America and am a native speaker of English.
Qualifications:
I studied and taught English in Paris, France.on. I believe keeping up my education will further benefit my students so I am always working toward more English teaching certifications.
While in America I volunteered with a non-profit. I trained or assisted in training new volunteers to the organization and integrated them into the non-profits day to day activities. I did this in person in the state of New Jersey, New York City, and Miami, Florida.
Lesson style:
I love to write when I have time and like to incorporate creative writing into my lessons when possible. I really enjoy the written word and helping develop those skills alongside verbal ability. I like to try and maintaine a friendly enviorment that isn't too strict.
We can:
-> Practice Pronunciation
-> Work on grammar
-> Writting skills
-> Tell Stories
-> Role Play
-> Read, discuss, and debate
-> Make a lesson to suit your needs
-> And much more
My interests:
I am someone who very much enjoys travel. I think it is important for me to expand my views of the world by immersing in and visiting many different cultures around the world. I have traveled extensively across America. I have also traveled eastern Canada, and spent much of my life on the country’s boarder. I have traveled north western Europe as well; where for a time I volunteered as a video journalist. I hope to see more of the world and it’s people sooner rather than later.
I love the arts and the great painters, though I am not the best at painting myself. I am an amateur photographer and writer. I do have one published poem. I enjoy hiking and camping when I can find the time. Nature is calming and good for the soul, I think.
I look forward to working with you and can't wait to hear from you.
Thank you,
~Sarah
