Hello!  My name is Kristin and I am here to help you with any questions you may have regarding violin and viola.  I am a violist, and received my Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Northwestern University and my Master of Music from the Yale School of Music.  I have recently finished studies at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where I completed the Music Education and Performance program and the Advanced Independent Study program.  I gave solo and chamber recitals in central London, was active as an orchestral musician, and taught private lessons as well.  I am well aware of the fact that different students require different needs, and I adjust my lessons to accomodate each student.  I am passionate about helping you reach your full potential on either violin and viola and will help you every step of the way.

I am also here to help with English.  As I have lived abroad in Barcelona, I know very well the difficulties that one may encounter while trying to live in a foreign country.  Even though my second major is in Spanish, I still struggled at the beginning of my stay in Barcelona.  There may be cultural differences, and difficulties that may result from language barriers.  However, these can be overcome with practice and an open mind.
