Hello, Zara here.

Nice to meet you!

I am an English language teacher with over 9000 hours of classroom teaching experience since 2018. I did my Master’s in English in 2017 and I also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. I have had the privilege of meeting, teaching, and learning from hundreds of learners from all over the world and cultures.

Additionally, I also hold a degree in Optometry…so we can see our set goals clearly.^^

I have teaching experience in:

·   General English- classes focused on listening comprehension, pronunciation, grammar check and vocabulary

· Business English- conducting meetings, communication/ negotiations, business jargon, drafting formal emails/legal documents and making presentations.

·    Academic English- designing and teaching a grammar-based curriculum, research papers, content writing

·        Exam preparation (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, EiKen)

Besides teaching, I have also worked as an Optometrist in both Government and Pivate healthcare settings. Also, I enjoy singing and dancing. Recently, I have also taken up Yoga and I am loving it so far.

My Goal on CafeTalk is:

To provide you with a stress-free and safe learning environment and help you reach your goals while giving you those “exciting breakthroughs” during our lessons.
