Hi! I am Gerda, a licensed professional English teacher based in the Philippines. I have been teaching English for 13 years now, both online and in classroom settings and for all age groups. I am currently on my 3rd year in law school. 

I started my teaching career in Singapore as a programme instructor for a private enrichment school. I had the opportunity to learn new methods of brain training, apply effective teaching strategies, and develop teaching materials that are age-appropriate and meaningful. 
While engaged in classroom teaching, I also started teaching business English online to Japanese professionals. This led me to the realization that I can create learning opportunities for others, especially the Japanese who are eager to learn English but have limited time and opportunities to do so. I believe that learning English should be accessible to all, fun, meaningful, and challenging at the same time. 

I believe that my teaching experience, qualifications, and flexible personality makes me a suitable teacher for learners from all walks of life. 

Through this platform,  I hope to connect with others around the globe and foster a meaningful exchange of culture and ideas.  
Creating a meaningful learning experience for my students through practical conversations done in comfort of their homes, as they are convenient, and without breaking the bank is my ultimate goal.
