This tutor is currently on leave.
In my twenties I was a single dad raising my two kids at that in my thirties I became a musician full-time and then in my 40s I started to teach English and I recently started in Thailand teaching English in the large Christian schools to the nursery grades to the kindergarten and then up to the grades and then it's a high school finally after that I decided to go to a university and get a bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language tesol 
 
I learned a lot in college because this gave me the background to really understand how people learn English and how to teach English more properly we did a lot of student group work at presentations that really to learn about how to really be a teacher not just get a certificate 
 

I used my pronunciation techniques and exercises that I learned from my singing teachers when I was studying singing and I realize that there was a connection between these exercises that I was doing and my teaching English I realize that the connection between phonics and add accent reduction was really a strong connection 
 
I have really created my own technique of getting people to sound more like the native speaker I can't really describe my technique to you here because it would sound too complicated in our classes if you give me permission to make you sound a little silly sometimes I can coach you and help you sound more like a native speaker of course as you may know this involves training the tongue and changing the mouth shapes
