Nice to meet you all! My name is Kohzan, a shakuhachi teacher.
So far, I have been doing lessons for about 6 years in the shakuhachi classroom.
Students of all ages, from elementary school students to those who have retired from work, are currently attending classes.
Recently, not only classical performances, but the number of scenes in which the number of scenes with other genres such as pops and classical music is increasing.

I myself had a history of studying classical music at university, so I make other lessons in addition to classical music, such as pop music and popular songs, which are familiar to everyone, and I have a lesson for each person.

Profile
Shiba Kohzan
Born in Saitama prefecture. Started playing the piano at the age of three. I graduated from piano in high school and from vocal music in college. After graduating from university with Shakuhachi at the age of 19, studied under Michiyama Fujiwara.
Appeared on NHK general TV "Utacon". Participated in the TV anime "Pop Team Epic". Involved in shakuhachi instruction at TBS "UTAGE!" Made a major debut at the Bamboo Flute Orchestra "Shakuhachi Classic" released by Sony Music.
Participated in overseas performances in Indonesia, Finland, France and the United States. Currently performing with musicians of various genres and performing in Japan and overseas. In addition, I also teach juniors at school performances and at the shakuhachi classroom that I presides over.
Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Music Department, Vocal Music Course. Miyakoyama Shakuhachigakukai Associate Teacher, both the Master's Exam and the No. 1 position. Member of Sanka Association. Member of the Japan Shakuhachi Performer Network (JSPN). Member of Orchestra Asia Japan. President of Shiba Music School. Ayane Oto/Shakuhachi classroom teacher. A member of the piano, shakuhachi and viola unit "Sashie", a Japanese musical instrument quartet "Cytamatic", and a member of the "Bamboo Flute Orchestra".
