Introduction

Hello, my name is Dayna. I live on beautiful Vancouver island off the coast of British Columbia Canada. I am always discovering new beaches, lakes, rivers and waterfalls to hike to and swim in. Here on CafeTalk I teach career advancement as well as English conversation, and career counseling. 

Teaching background

I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught both 1-1 and groups, in person and online, native speakers and new language learners of all abilities. 

I have my Bachelors in Fine Arts and hold my Master's Degree in Educational Studies. I have a clear understanding of practical teaching principles and how to adapt strategies to suit learners needs. 

I have over 5 years experience working as an employment instructor and counselor in colleges and non-profit organizations. I also speak at conferences and offer professional and personal development workshops.
