Hi! My name is Anthony or Tony for short.

I'm an experienced / educated UK teacher, living in the wonderful, exciting city of Leeds, England at present ( possibly for the summer). I have taught many students from kindergarten, primary, adults and business clients in many curriculum's including Oxford and Cambridge. I'm a TEFL 150hrs masters qualified trained teacher and my home country is the North of England.
I also teach mature studenst IELTS introduction, for the purpose of achieving a recognised banding for such goals as immigration, college / uni entrance, goverment bodies jobs etc..

My lessons are aimed at students achieving their goals and dreams, and for them to enjoy it at the same time. I am a friendly/sociable person and I teach English in a very understandable way with for the younger student, more retention focued and my lessons are tailored to the student's needs and wants.

I have been travelling around S.E.A since 1996 - 2018 and I now understand many cultures , which helps me put across a unique lesson plan!

I enjoy teaching all kinds of students and the challenge of helping them succeed and improve. Below is a small brief resume.

2017 – 2018:     English Lecturer / Educator /Teacher: Vanda Institute, Phnom Penh.

Lecturing and educating, upper-intermediate students in the general education program via the Headway curriculum, Oxford-based.Also teaching students in the direction of public speaking.      Achievements: Students gained accreditation at a higher intermediate level, through S.L.M.R, speech types based on different delivery methods - new ways of vocabulary / TESOL, speech process – 5 steps, research, organisation, text, graphics and delivery.

Strength / Interests of my teaching methodologies: Teaching methodologies in my classrooms enable ALL students/children to learn and acquire skills at an advanced pace, with repetition being a key factor for all classes. Therefore, students/children’s learning skills, developing retention, capacities a year earlier than peers in other schools and programs. This teaching and learning experience sparks a child’s natural curiosity by incorporating art, music, visual studies, and fun into each lesson at school/class.

The most important things for students/children are their emotional development milestones, motor skills, intellectual growth, including socialization.

We also focus on these age groups to develop the following skills in grammar, vocabulary, speech, reading, and recognition, listening and writing. Our values and attitude towards this are paramount for their goals/dreams.  Thus making their socialization and behaviour improve and trains them to become a future leader and a good human being in today’s society.

Train up a student/child in the way she/he should go, and when she/he gets older, she/he will never depart from it. Remembering practice makes perfect!
