Hi! I'm
Kayce.
I'm from the
Philippines!
I have been teaching English for
5 years now. As an ESL teacher, I had the opportunity to meet and teach people of all levels (Beginner to Advance).
I enjoy getting to know and making friends with people from different countries. I was able to have interesting conversations with my students in which we talked about a variety of things such as food, places, friends, hobbies, etc.
I am definitely excited to meet you! ***
Kayce's Teaching Style
Let's study in a way that it feels like we're having conversations over coffee!
(By the way, do you prefer coffee or tea?)
I do think that seeing my student become comfortable in class is most important. I've had students before who were very shy during the first few days. As our classes went on, they had gathered more confidence and I was amazed by the improvement! They began to speak more often and even tried to use longer and more complex expressions! Our conversations also became more colorful. My students even shared personal stories such as their honest feelings about work, their unique hobbies (like flower arrangement), yearly plans and even getting married!
I want to see you HAVING FUN WHILE LEARNING IN CLASS.
That will surely put a smile on my face.
As for my lessons,
I focus more on giving my students the chance to express themselves so I offer classes that are mostly centered on conversation. As we talk in class, I will be helping you on your grammar/expressions. I will also be suggesting better ways to say what you want to say. In the process, we will be learning new vocabulary and sentence patterns.
