Greetings from New York! My name is Bethel and I appreciate the opportunity to get to know you. Your interests are of great importance to me. It is said that "communication builds bridges and lack of communication builds walls." We definitely need more bridges in our lives! Getting to know people, helping them discover what they are good at and assisting them in setting and reaching goals - these are great joys for me.
Do you want to work on vocabulary or pronunciation for everyday conversation? Are you are in a retail environment and want to be more conversant in English? Are you a busy mom and challenged in finding time to work on your English? I would love to help you to improve your vocabulary and grammar.
A little about me personally: I have been married for 26 years and have raised three children. My favorite hobbies are cooking, entertaining, meeting people, reading and watching movies. I have lived in New York, Atlanta, Georgia and Washington DC. As a teenager, I volunteered in helping people of all ages learn to read and build comprehension. In the 30 years since, I haved worked in education - initially in early childhood education and eventually became an Administrator and Instructor in a talented and gifted Academy in New York. I have enjoyed teaching numerous subjects - my favorites include English, History, Reading and TESOL.
