Hello! I’m Kayla and I'm from sunny South Africa. In my spare time, I really enjoy immersing myself in the mystery and crime genre through reading books, playing video games and watching movies and series. I also enjoy listening to music. Science is another topic close to my heart, and I enjoy discussing fascinating discoveries and breakthroughs. I also have two boxer dogs that I love talking about.

As for qualifications, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Life Sciences, which means I can help you to improve your medical vocabulary. I have also completed a 420-hour Advanced TEFL diploma. This course taught me how to help students improve their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. Additionally, I learned how to assist students in developing the four essential language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The course also equipped me with the skills to teach younger students, conduct English lessons online and one-to-one, teach business English classes, teach other subjects in English (such as science), and how to prepare students for the IELTS exam.

I’m passionate about creating a positive and effective learning environment. I really would like to help others by making their language learning enjoyable and rewarding, since I strongly believe that learning should be fun, interactive, and tailored to your needs. In our classes, we’ll explore real-life situations, practise conversational skills, and work on your specific language goals. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve any of your English skills, I’m here to help you along on this exciting language journey!
