Hello! My name is Kristy, I am from South Africa. I am bright, friendly & patient. I love reading, cooking, sport, yoga & animals. I love teaching both adults and children.



I have a British South African English accent, with excellent pronunciation. I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Online ESL Teacher with just over 3 years online teaching experience and over 8 years of tutoring experience. I have 4 years of experience in corporate business, in business marketing and media. I have a Degree in Media and Writing and Film Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. I have also completed my TEFL certificate. 
 
Throughout my career, I have perfected my interpersonal and teaching abilities. In my lessons, I focus on maximising talking time, pronunciation, and grammar. I love to make my students feel empowered when they learn. My lessons have great energy, I am very patient, and kind and I make sure the student gets the most out of the lesson. My methods of teaching which I find useful include using props, lots of TPR, and positive encouragement. And most of all they are FUN!
