Hi everyone,
My name is Ridwan and I am from Mauritius. For those who have never heard of it, Mauritius is a small tropical island found in the Indian Ocean. We only have two seasons here and as such we don't have blistering summers or very harsh winters; which makes it possible to enjoy the beaches all year long :) 

A little about me :
I was born and raised here and after completing high-school on the island, I spent some time in Asia and Europe for further studies. I have a background of Engineering and I have a passion for technology and innovation. Since my college days, I have tried my hand at many different things and learned a lot of new stuff. I am a very curious and avid learner, recently I have taken an interest in photography; so that is my latest challenge.

My hobbies and interests :
Some of my hobbies are : movies, TV series, anime, music, photography, road trips, nature, computers and gadgets, DIY...however, there are also times when I like to be lazy and laid back, and at such times I can enjoy the sunset or a good book.

Why am I here?
I love teaching because not only does it help me improve myself and discover new cultures through my students but I also get the chance to help others and share what I have learned with them. I always strive to make my lessons fun and interesting for every student. I was teaching English and Photoshop over the phone prior to joining CafeTalk. I am bi-lingual, I can speak English and French fluently. My accent is very neutral and quite easy to follow. My lessons are mostly conversational, talking about general or specific topics, discussing a news article or a movie, describing a picture or a drawing.
