This tutor is currently on leave.
I have taught English as a private tutor (Katei-Kyoushi) in Japan when I was in university.  I used to teach high school students who were preparing for universities' entrance exams or help their English academically for their school classes.  
 
I've gone to a TOEFL seminar school in Shibuya after I came back from a study abroad in New York for a year when I was in high school; and therefore, I have some experience in studying TOEFL (iBT) tests myself extensively for my university entrance exams, as well as when I applied for a scholarship internship study abroad program in my third year in uni.  
 
As for the tutoring/teaching experience, aside from being a private English tutor, I've also taught Japanese at my university to exchange students from overseas as a TA in their Japanese classes and as a private tutor when they required an extra help.  I continued to teach Japanese to adults as a private tutor for couple years here in Toronto as well. 
 
I've been told I am a very good teacher and good at teaching languages in the past, and I truly enjoy teaching them and see my students improve.  I'm fluent in both Japanese and English, I am patient, and I believe I am a great sensei for those who need a little more help improving their English ability whether it's for speaking, writing, listening, or reading.
 
Also, if there are any aspiring actors or someone who needs their monologues/songs/audition materials to be looked at, feel free to contact me as well.  I can give you some directions on how to improve your acting techniques on them.
