My name is Eric Yusuke Tsubouchi. My father is Japanese, and my mother is American. I was born in 1982 in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the east bay in El Cerrito. In 1998, my mother and I moved to Scotland, and I spent about a year and a half finishing high school. I went to college in Long Beach, California. But before I graduated, I decided to begin working. I spent 11 years working for a small local bank in northern California.
In 2011, I met my wife in San Francisco. She is a wonderful, Vietnamese woman and six years later, we had our first child. We named our son Minh Nhat Eran Tsubouchi. We decided to move to Vietnam to raise our child because my wife was more comfortable in her home country, and she wanted to be near her parents. So I made the sacrifice.
I needed a new job, and I love kids, so I began teaching English online. At this time, I also completed my bachelor's degree through an online college. Then we had a baby girl and named her Ha Thy Tsubouchi. Now I spend my days at home with my children and work online. I enjoy teaching children English and allowing them an opportunity to live fulfilled lives of their own.
